Secondary Metabolites from Munnozia hastifolia (Asteraceae)
Abstract
A phytochemical investigation of the flowers of Munnozia hastifolia led to the isolation of four known compounds tulirinol 1, dihydrochrysanolide 2, quercetin 3 and luteolin 4, while the leaves afforded lupeol 5, - amyrin 6 and stigmasterol 7. The structures were determinated using several spectroscopic data. This is the first report about chemical composition of M. hastifolia.
